Customer Data Usage Pattern Analysis
Optimal No-Contract Plan Recommendations
Meticulously Structured from 1GB to 100GB per Month
Toss Mobile has launched a customized product that analyzes customers' data usage to recommend the optimal plan.
Viva Republica's (Toss) telecommunications subsidiary, Toss Mobile, announced on the 15th that it has launched a 'Usage-Based Customized Plan' that recommends the optimal data tier by analyzing customers' actual data usage. Customers can subscribe to the plan through the Toss application.
The Usage-Based Customized Plan is structured so that the fee level varies according to the actual data tier used by the customer. It is an LTE-only plan, with data tiers finely segmented from a minimum of 1GB up to a maximum of 100GB.
The plan analyzes the customer's actual data usage patterns and recommends the most optimized data tier for the following month.
If a customer uses less data than the subscribed tier, the Toss app will first recommend downgrading the plan to the actual usage tier for the next month. Conversely, if the actual data usage is higher, it will recommend upgrading the plan.
Since it is a no-contract product, customers are free to change or cancel their plans at any time. To ensure accurate usage analysis, Toss Mobile offers the tier between over 71GB and up to 100GB free of charge during the first month of subscription. Prices range from a minimum of 9,800 KRW to a maximum of 34,800 KRW.
Even if the basic provided data is fully used up, data can still be used continuously in the form of speed control (QoS).
A Toss Mobile representative said, "We planned and launched the Usage-Based Customized Plan so that customers can use the optimal telecommunications product without wasting communication costs," adding, "We will continue to introduce good services from the customer's perspective and strive to change the standards of telecommunications."
