Discussion on New Year Activity Plans and Donation of Relief Funds to Needy Neighbors

The Saemaeul Men and Women Leaders Association of Unsu-myeon, Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk (Chairman Seo Tae-ho, Women’s Chairwoman Moon Mal-ja) held the 2024 New Year General Meeting at 5:30 PM on the 12th on the 2nd floor of the Unsu-myeon Senior Welfare Center with about 30 members in attendance.

At the New Year General Meeting, the agenda proceeded in the order of greetings from the newly appointed Unsu-myeon Saemaeul Leaders Association Chairman and Women’s Chairwoman, presentation of new member certificates, election of the Saemaeul Leaders Association Vice Chairman, and discussion of the 2024 activity plan. The previous chairman and members also attended the meeting, adding prestige to the event.

Notably, at this general meeting, the Saemaeul Men and Women Leaders Association donated 1 million won of love donations, collected with sincerity despite the frozen economy.

Newly appointed Saemaeul Association Chairman Seo Tae-ho and Women’s Chairwoman Moon Mal-ja expressed their aspirations, saying, “We will do our best to become a Saemaeul Association that leads by example and contributes to the development of Unsu-myeon for the year.”

Choi Hee-jun, the head of Unsu-myeon, said, “I thank the members for their hard work participating in various volunteer activities for community development over the past year, and I promise to provide unwavering cooperation and support to the Saemaeul Association.”
