According to the West Sea Coast Guard on the 15th, Safety General Manager Lee Jong-wook used the coastal rescue boat of the Bukhang Police Substation on the 13th to directly inspect major fishing boat operation sites in the Bukhang area and the waters around Amhaedo Island under Mokpo jurisdiction, urging fishing boat workers to comply with safety rules.

On the morning of the 14th, the Head of the Rescue Safety Division visited the Wando Ttangkkeut Police Substation to share marine safety prevention policies such as the provision of marine weather information services, and instructed to continuously strengthen community-based services so that fishermen can quickly and conveniently request help when in danger.

In addition, the safety management status and emergency response posture of fishing vessels and multi-use vessels during the winter season were inspected, and workers were encouraged.

Safety General Manager Lee Jong-wook said, “I hope that marine safety prevention policies, such as the proactive provision of marine weather information being promoted to prevent maritime accidents, will take root and bring us closer to fishermen throughout the year,” adding, “We will make greater efforts to create a safe sea.”
