Samsung Electronics Launches Next-Generation Signage Integrated Platform 'Samsung VXT' Globally

Global Offline Launch... Online Sales Expand After US Debut
"CMS New Features Packed with Support from Content Creation to Operation and Management"

Samsung Electronics announced on the 15th that it will officially launch the next-generation digital signage integrated content operation platform, 'Samsung VXT (Samsung Visual eXperience Transformation),' in the global market.


It has enhanced the existing server-based digital signage operation and management software MagicInfo and implemented it as a cloud-based solution. It allows easy creation and management of content such as in-store product promotions, discount events, advertising videos, and welcome messages. The VXT Canvas feature helps users check the content being created in real time. Uploading external sources such as Instagram or the free image site Pixabay is also possible.


It supports real-time hardware monitoring. Administrators can remotely manage content in real time. It supports content scheduling, content playback, remote product control, product power consumption monitoring, and energy efficiency improvements. It provides data security solutions such as KNOX, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and network lock functions, automatic device inspection and fault prediction alarms, and 24-hour global service support.


It is designed with an intuitive user experience (UX) so that anyone can use it easily. With a responsive user interface (UI), it can be used not only on PCs but also on mobile devices. It supports all B2B (business-to-business) display products including smart LCDs, LED signage, and The Wall.


Samsung plans to provide development frameworks such as software development kits (SDK) and development documentation to encourage anyone to participate in Samsung VXT-related app development. It aims to lead the establishment of a software ecosystem by encouraging partner participation.

Samsung VXT will be launched as an omnichannel-based subscription service. It can be purchased offline through existing B2B sales channels. Online sales will be gradually expanded starting with the United States.


Lee Yang-woo, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, said, "Cloud-based Samsung VXT will present a new paradigm for signage solutions," adding, "We will develop it into a content operation platform that offers much greater value to partners and customers."


Samsung Electronics plans to actively promote global sales of Samsung VXT by participating in 'ISE 2024,' Europe's largest display exhibition, held in Barcelona, Spain, starting on the 31st (local time).
