Hankyung Association's 'Future Leaders Camp' for Young Aspiring CEOs

Held in Gangneung for 3 days and 2 nights from the 14th
200 young people selected, participants have diverse occupations

The Korea Economic Leaders Association (HanKyungHyup) announced that it will hold the 'Future Leaders Camp' in Gangneung for a 2-night, 3-day schedule starting from the 14th.


This camp was organized to help young people aspiring to become future CEOs cultivate entrepreneurial spirit and leadership, and gain insights.


Over 400 young people applied, and 200 were finally selected. The occupations of the camp participants aged 19 to 38 varied, including startup CEOs, soldiers, and prison officers.


The event consisted of a talk concert, startup CEO mentoring and networking, volunteer activities for the Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics, and performance viewing. Speakers at the talk concert include Seo Jung-jin, chairman of Celltrion; Song Gil-young, author of "The Era of the Nuclear Individual"; Kim Jong-yoon, CEO of Yanolja Cloud; and Nam Min-woo, chairman of the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation.


Ryu Jin, chairman of HanKyungHyup, said in his welcoming speech, "The camp will serve as a base camp for young people aspiring to become future CEOs and leaders in various sectors of society to understand entrepreneurial spirit and develop leadership qualities," adding, "Over the years, it will become a cradle for nurturing leaders in diverse fields."
