On this day, researchers Yoon Cheol-hwan and Lee Do-hee from Korea Investment & Securities said, "Last year, Hanbit Laser recorded sales of 8.2 billion won and an operating loss of 200 million won in the first half. Due to strong seasonality, the sales ratio is usually about 30% in the first half and 70% in the second half." They added, "Last year, growth in the secondary battery sector slowed due to the impact on the front-end industry. However, the automotive sector performed well, led by the active rear-wheel steering system (RWS) and busbar welding products, and both revenue and profit are expected to improve compared to the previous year."
They continued, "This year, while the automotive sector grows steadily, the secondary battery sector will lead the overall company's performance. The new business sector is expected to act as a mid- to long-term growth driver. The roll-to-roll film processor for electric vehicles has completed sample testing and is preparing for mass production. The roll-to-roll laser notching equipment and series-type charge-discharge system for secondary batteries have completed development," they added.
