Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) announced on the 12th that Lee Chae-eun, a student in the Department of Industrial Health Emergency Rescue, won the Excellence Award in the ‘2023 Academic Degree Major Advanced Course Success Stories and Essays Contest’ held on the 8th.

The major advanced course is an educational program designed to provide continuing education opportunities to graduates of junior colleges, aiming to cultivate professional technical personnel through job-related advanced vocational education. It fosters professionals aligned with the goal of nurturing specialized technical experts.
In this contest, under the theme “A Journey Toward Outstanding Expertise and Career,” Lee Chae-eun candidly shared her high satisfaction with the various possibilities opened up through the Industrial Health Emergency Rescue major advanced course, which is part of the Emergency Rescue major, as she progresses toward becoming an emergency rescuer. She explained how emergency rescuers can play a key role in the industry and highlighted the importance and value of the major advanced course.
Lee Chae-eun, who received the Excellence Award, enrolled in the Emergency Rescue Department at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology in 2020, successfully found employment immediately after graduation, and also enrolled in the major advanced course. She is expected to receive her bachelor’s degree this February. She aims to become an industrial health manager by obtaining certifications such as Industrial Hygiene Engineer and Industrial Safety Engineer.
Lee Chae-eun said, “I felt great satisfaction in being able to broaden my path as an emergency rescuer through the Industrial Health Emergency Rescue major advanced course, so I highly recommend it to juniors who are considering enrollment. Although there will be difficulties, I hope they do not fear challenges and seize the opportunity while looking forward to their own growth.”
