For Core Component Companies of Future Cars and Companies Scheduled for Digital Innovation Transformation

Ulsan City is recruiting participating companies for the 'Regional Specialized Project Legend 50+' from the 12th to February 2nd, over a period of three weeks.

Eligibility requirements include local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in Ulsan City, specifically companies involved in core future car parts and those planning digital innovation transformation.

However, if the applying company's demand pertains only to the 'Smart Manufacturing Innovation Support Project Smart Factory,' mid-sized companies are also eligible. Applications can be submitted online through the Ulsan Technopark website.

Applicants will be evaluated based on ▲project relevance ▲need for support ▲appropriateness of goal and plan establishment ▲capabilities of the applying company, and approximately 300 companies will be selected.

Selected companies will be granted eligibility to apply for the future 'Ulsan City Regional Specialized Project Support Project.' An information session for participating companies will also be held. The session will take place on January 17th at 2 PM in the main conference room of the Automotive Parts Technology Research Institute in Maegok-dong, Buk-gu.

The Ulsan City Regional Specialized Project is the 'Automotive Parts Industry Digital Innovation Transformation Project,' aiming to provide customized support for companies considering the automotive DX (Digital Transformation) stage. It is a project that supports the innovative growth of local automotive parts industry SMEs by linking key policy tools from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The project will run for three years until 2026, with a total support budget of 90.5 billion KRW.

This year, 30.4 billion KRW will be provided, including the Small and Medium Business Innovation Voucher, SME policy fund support, and export voucher projects from the Small and Medium Business Corporation, as well as smart factory and regional core industry company support from Ulsan Technopark. For detailed inquiries, contact the Corporate Support Group of Ulsan Technopark, the organizing institution.

The 'Regional Specialized Project Legend 50+' is a regional SME development policy where metropolitan local governments plan region-specific specialized projects that leverage unique local characteristics and strengths, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups consolidates policy tools to provide focused support over three years until 2026. Ulsan City participated with the 'Automotive Parts Industry Digital Innovation Transformation Project' and was finally selected last year.
