LS Donates 2 Billion KRW for New Year's Neighbor Love Fundraising

On the 10th, Delivered to Community Chest of Korea

LS Group announced that it donated 2 billion KRW as a Neighbor Love Fund to the Community Chest of Korea on the 10th to celebrate the New Year.

On the same day, An Won-hyung, President of the Management Support Headquarters of LS Corporation, participated in the Neighbor Love Fund donation ceremony held at the Community Chest of Korea Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, and handed over the donation to Hwang In-sik, Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea.

Six affiliates, including LS Cable & System, LS Electric, LS MnM, LS Mtron, E1, and Yesco, participated in raising the donation.

Since 2009, LS has donated funds to the Community Chest of Korea every year. This year's donation will be used to support basic living expenses for socially vulnerable groups, improve education and housing environments, provide health and medical support, and strengthen social care.

Meanwhile, last November, instead of holding a commemorative event for the 20th anniversary of the group's founding, LS selected 20 children with rare diseases in the local community and decided to cover all their medical expenses. Last year, LS also donated funds to support recovery efforts for the Turkey earthquake damage, Gangneung wildfire damage, and heavy rain damage.
