Yeonpo Elementary was honored for its implementation of student-tailored physical education linked with Morning Change and 365+ Physical Activity On programs.
Last year, Yeonpo Elementary operated 10 student-tailored, step-by-step physical education programs, including school-wide morning walking and jump rope activities connected with Morning Change and 365+ Physical Activity On, traditional games programs, and a badminton sports club.
Additionally, the school has worked to revitalize school sports by running autonomous clubs for future-oriented sports programs such as "Meta Sports SCHOOL: Online Physical Education Classroom" and VR·AI Health and Fitness Classes.
As a result, the number of students achieving the highest grade in the student health and fitness evaluation significantly increased compared to the previous year, while the number of students in the fourth grade decreased by 38%. The school also won awards in four events, including 3rd place in the Women's Badminton Superintendent's Cup at the School Sports Club Competition.
Song Young-cheol, principal of Yeonpo Elementary School, said, “We will continue to provide student-tailored physical education to satisfy students’ desire for physical activity,” and added, “We will strive to help students build self-achievement and create a happy school.”
