Jinhae Marine Park, under the Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam, is recruiting and managing volunteers to assist with environmental cleanup such as marine debris collection throughout the park and support for events.
Volunteers are recruited year-round in cooperation with the Changwon Volunteer Center, and anyone who is a citizen of Changwon, including adults, students, groups, and companies, can apply.
Selected volunteers will complete mandatory volunteer training and then engage in activities such as ▲environmental protection efforts including marine debris collection ▲event support and assistance ▲customer guidance support at viewing facilities.
Volunteers will receive a tour of the park’s facilities along with snacks, and their volunteer hours will be officially certified after service. Last year, a total of 834 people participated, achieving 3,208 volunteer hours.

Kim Hyung-woon, team leader of Jinhae Marine Park Management Office, said, “We will strive to activate volunteer activities to work together with citizens and establish the park as a place that citizens want to visit again.”
