Choosing Domestic Designer Brand Two-piece
Fashion 'Hot Topic' Every Time Appearing at Official Events
The two-piece outfit worn by Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, at an official event has become a topic of conversation. On the 4th, at the Dooul Scholarship Foundation scholarship certificate award ceremony held at the Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul, President Lee encouraged the newly selected scholarship recipients in a neat and sophisticated gray two-piece ensemble.
After photos taken with the scholarship students were released, the two-piece was revealed to be the Nento Slim Jacket Skirt Two-Piece (belt set) from the domestic designer brand ‘Dint’. The price is 119,700 KRW. The set includes a collarless jacket, an H-line skirt, and a belt made from the same fabric. It has been noted that this outfit reflects President Lee’s usual preference for a calm and modest style.

Dint, created by CEO Shin Su-jin, a former wedding dress designer, pursues a luxurious and stylish atmosphere but offers relatively affordable and reasonable prices. Launched in 2009, Dint gained public recognition as worn by characters such as Park Yeon-jin in the drama 'The Glory', Mo Hyun-min in 'The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family', Cheon Seo-jin in 'Penthouse', and Yeom Jeong-ah in 'Sky Castle'.
The epitome of an elegant yet comfortable ‘Old Money Look’ at official events
President Lee has attracted attention for her fashion sense and ability to carry outfits well, becoming a topic of conversation every time she appears at official events. Without displaying brand logos or dressing flamboyantly, she is often called the epitome of a naturally elegant yet comfortable ‘Old Money Look’.

When attending her son’s middle school graduation ceremony last year, she wore a cropped tweed jacket paired with relaxed-fit bootcut denim pants. She matched this with a simple black leather bag. The tweed jacket she wore at the time was from the 2019 Fall/Winter collection of the French luxury brand Chanel, and the leather bag on her shoulder was the Bindle handbag from the American fashion brand THE ROW, priced in the 2 million KRW range.
Meanwhile, the Dooul Scholarship Foundation, chaired by Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, is the first and only women’s specialized scholarship foundation in Korea, established in January 2000 by former Hansol Group advisor Lee In-hee in honor of the late Park Do-oul, wife of the late Samsung Group Chairman Lee Byung-chul, who had a strong interest in scholarship projects and helping those in need. It was founded with contributions from the broader Samsung family including Samsung, Hansol, CJ, and Shinsegae, and continues to be actively involved in its operation.
Since 2000, the foundation has annually selected first-year female university students from 16 universities and provided full tuition and self-development expenses from their second year until graduation. Over 23 years, 670 students have received approximately 10.9 billion KRW in scholarships.
