Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is recruiting candidates for the 2024 Young Farmers Settlement Support Project and Successor Farmer Management Support Project until January 31 to discover talented individuals who will lead future agriculture and ensure stable farming settlement.
Cheongsong-gun accepting applications for the 2024 Young Farmers and Successor Farm Managers Support Project.
The Young Farmers Settlement Support Project is open to young people aged 18 to under 40 who have no farming experience or less than three years of farming experience. Selected participants will receive a farming settlement support fund of 900,000 to 1,100,000 KRW per month for up to three years, provided in the form of vouchers.
Additionally, they can receive priority support such as successor farmer management funds (up to 500 million KRW), technical and management education and counseling (consulting), leasing and purchasing of farmland through the Farmland Bank.
The Successor Farmer Management Support Project targets farmers aged 18 to under 50 with less than 10 years of farming experience. Candidates are selected through evaluation and review, and can receive loans up to 500 million KRW per household (annual interest rate 1.5%, 5-year grace period, 20-year repayment) along with various farming education and consulting services.
Applicants for both the Young Farmers Settlement Support Project and the Successor Farmer Management Support Project can apply online through the Agricultural Project Information System. Detailed information about the projects can be found in the Notices and Announcements section on the Cheongsong-gun Office website, and consultation and guidance are available at the Agricultural Policy Planning Team of the Agricultural Policy Division at Cheongsong-gun Office.
