Changnyeong-gun, Second Half 'Civil Complaint Handling Mileage' Outstanding Departments and Public Officials Award Ceremony

Encouraging Public Officials Practicing Citizen-Impressing Service Through Prompt Civil Complaint Handling

Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 3rd that it selected and encouraged outstanding public officials for the second half of the year who practiced citizen-impressing services through prompt civil complaint handling on the 2nd.

The 'Civil Complaint Handling Mileage' is a system that evaluates accumulated individual scores and additional points based on the difficulty of tasks when civil complaint cases with a statutory processing period of more than two days are handled in a shorter time than the legal deadline.

This system was introduced to boost the morale of public officials in charge of civil complaint handling and to provide prompt and accurate civil complaint services to citizens.

In the second half of 2023, three departments, including the Environmental Sanitation Division, were selected as outstanding departments. In the simple civil complaint category, three officials including Deputy Director Dongho Lee of the Finance Division were selected as outstanding public officials, and in the complex civil complaint category, three officials including Deputy Director Byunggeun Seo of the Urban Architecture Division were selected, receiving certificates and awards.

Governor Nak-in Sung stated, “I understand that there may be difficulties in handling civil complaints due to various demands from complainants and complex work procedures. I hope that public officials, who handle civil complaints closest to the citizens, will keep in mind that they are the face of Changnyeong-gun and strive for prompt and accurate civil complaint handling.”
