On the evening of the 27th at Cheongsong Market in Cheongsong-eup, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, the “Performance Sharing and Year-End Harmony Night” event, hosted by the Cheongsong-eup Rural Hub Revitalization Promotion Committee, was held.
The Cheongsong-eup Rural Hub Revitalization Project Promotion Committee of Cheongsong-gun held a performance sharing event and a year-end night for community harmony.
This event was part of the 2023 Cheongsong-eup Rural Hub Revitalization Project’s regional capacity-building efforts, featuring a photo exhibition and performances related to the 17 tasks carried out throughout the year, as well as a singing contest for local residents and refreshments provided by volunteer groups, creating a rich and diverse program.
About 500 local residents participated in the event, which was lively and vibrant despite the cold weather, demonstrating the strong unity among the community. The promotion committee and residents shared stories of their mutual efforts and enjoyed a moment of relaxation as they welcomed the new year together.
Additionally, a photo exhibition showcasing residents’ experiential and volunteer activities was set up in one corner of the venue, effectively sharing the year’s achievements with all attendees and raising residents’ interest in upcoming regional revitalization projects, thereby playing a significant role in promoting the initiative.
Kim Yang-tae, chairman of the Cheongsong-eup Rural Hub Revitalization Promotion Committee, which organized the event, said, “This event was successfully held thanks to the strong affection and dedication of numerous volunteers, organizations, and residents active in our region. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who joined us today and to the public officials of Cheongsong-gun. Our promotion committee will continue to make relentless efforts to ensure more substantial projects in the future.”
County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee expressed, “I thank the promotion committee for their efforts in revitalizing the local rural hub over the past year. I hope that with the united spirit of the residents, the projects will continue to develop into even more substantial initiatives.”
