Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do)'s women's judo team (coach Ok Kyung-sook) won two bronze medals at the '2023 Jeju Cup International Judo Tournament' held at Jeju Halla Gymnasium from the 11th to the 14th.

Since its inaugural year in 2023, the team has achieved excellent results at the National Sports Festival and the University Judo Federation Championships. In their first international competition, -63kg athlete Lee Eun-bi and +78kg athlete Jung Yoo-ra each placed third, earning bronze medals.
Additionally, -63kg athlete Lee Ji-won, who is about to graduate, has decided to join the prestigious local judo professional team, Busan Buk-gu Office women's judo team.
Coach Ok Kyung-sook, the first medalist from the women's judo world championships, said, "The key to our excellent results is enjoying training while communicating with the athletes under the strong support and interest of the university."
The Dong-Eui Institute of Technology judo team plans to do their best to develop judo athletes who diligently train during the upcoming 2024 winter training while not neglecting studies such as IT skills and basic law.
