2024 Executive and Director Personnel Appointments
The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 29th that it has carried out the '2024 Executive and Director Personnel Appointments' effective from the 1st of next month.
KITA appointed two new deputy managing directors and six new directors. KITA stated, "We have made these appointments focusing on selecting talent who will strengthen support projects based on expertise and leadership and lead the discovery of future trade engines, making next year the inaugural year of a major transformation to explore the future of Korean trade."
Park Seong-hwan, the newly appointed deputy managing director, joined in 1995 and gained field experience at the Policy Cooperation Office, Future Trade Research Office, and New York Branch. He has served as head of the Logistics Services Office, Secretary Office, and Planning and Coordination Office.
Jeong Hee-cheol, the newly appointed deputy managing director, joined the association in 1995 and has accumulated diverse experience at the Planning and Coordination Office, Brussels Branch, and Public Relations Office. He has served as head of the Trend Analysis Office and Secretary Office.
