Shinhan Investment Corp. Expands Risk Management Division... Organizational Restructuring Implemented

Shinhan Investment Corp. has reorganized its structure to strengthen internal controls and risk management systems.

On the 28th, Shinhan Investment Corp. announced that it has elevated the Risk Management Headquarters to a group level to serve as a company-wide control tower. Along with this, it established a new 'Customer Risk Management Department' to enhance the protection of customer assets. Additionally, the Internal Control Operations Department within the Compliance Headquarters has been expanded and reorganized into the 'Compliance Management Department' to establish a company-wide ethical compliance management system.

To strengthen customer management, the asset management division has also undergone reorganization. The IPS (Investment Products & Services) Group and the Digital Group have been integrated into the 'Asset Management Business Group,' and the Digital Sales Headquarters has been relocated under the Asset Management Business Group. Under the asset management division, the 'WM Planning and Coordination Department' has been established to develop and execute customer strategies encompassing both face-to-face and non-face-to-face clients.

The Corporate Finance Investment Department of the GIB2 Group has been split into two departments to enhance corporate finance capabilities, and Corporate Finance Departments 1 and 2 have been merged to unify the management system.

Furthermore, to improve organizational efficiency, the hierarchical structure has been streamlined from 'Department - Headquarters - Group' to 'Department - Group,' and department integrations will be expanded. This aims to simplify reporting lines and enable faster decision-making.
