Magnitude 6.4 Earthquake in the Sea Northeast of Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan

The Korea Meteorological Administration reported at 6:15 PM on the 28th that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 occurred in the sea area 408 km northeast-northeast of Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan, citing foreign observation agencies. The epicenter is located at 44.10 degrees north latitude and 149.20 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 160 km.
