BPA operates a joint logistics center in Surabaya through its Indonesian joint venture PLC to support Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies.

Among companies already established in Indonesia, BPA provides logistics services such as warehousing, inland transportation, and port handling at prices lower than the market rate to those aiming to expand into eastern Indonesia or newly enter the market.

BPA organized this event to support the expansion of domestic market channels in Indonesia by offering consumer goods companies using the joint logistics center opportunities to directly engage with local customers beyond simple logistics services. During the 7-day event, approximately 3,500 visitors were introduced to and sold our products.

For example, the Korean mid-sized company L operates directly managed stores mainly in the Jakarta metropolitan area but has been expanding into eastern Indonesia since opening its first and second directly managed stores in Surabaya last year.

In particular, to continuously expand market channels, L is considering opening additional directly managed stores in Surabaya and expanding into new markets such as Bali.

The social enterprise D, which manufactures eco-friendly fabrics and bags using recycled plastic and exports Korean agricultural products to Indonesia, expressed hopes that this event would promote local ESG activities of Korean companies and help build collaborative networks.

K Group, a representative Muslim Chinese-Indonesian company, stated that through this event, it hopes to form networks with Korean companies to introduce advanced Korean agricultural technologies and improve agricultural productivity in Indonesia.

BPA President Kang Jun-seok said, “We will continue to promote various projects to support the export and local market expansion of Korean companies by fully utilizing our overseas infrastructure bases beyond providing logistics services.”
