This Year’s Forest Welfare Service Satisfaction Scores 91.8 Points... Highest Ever

The Korea Forest Welfare Institute achieved the highest customer satisfaction in the forest welfare service sector this year.


The Institute announced the results of the '2023 Forest Welfare Service Voucher Satisfaction Survey' on the 28th. The satisfaction survey was conducted with 3,000 users of the forest welfare service voucher nationwide.


The overall satisfaction score for forest welfare services has shown a steady increase since 2016. In particular, this year recorded an overall satisfaction score of 91.8 points, the highest score since the satisfaction survey began.

The forest welfare service voucher is a system that supports vulnerable groups with approximately 100,000 KRW per person to use forest welfare services, and has been implemented since 2016.


The satisfaction survey is conducted annually to secure basic data for project operation and system improvement.


The core items of the satisfaction survey include the procedure for using the voucher, satisfaction when using programs and facilities, and the intention to reuse.


In this year's detailed items, respondents gave high scores in the order of ▲satisfaction with the natural environment (94.3 points) ▲program satisfaction (93.2 points) ▲staff and instructor service satisfaction (93.2 points).


Previously, the Korea Forest Welfare Institute conducted a satisfaction survey targeting 3,000 users of the forest welfare service voucher nationwide.


Nam Tae-heon, President of the Korea Forest Welfare Institute, said, “Through the satisfaction survey, we were able to confirm the performance of this year's forest welfare service voucher support project with scores,” and added, “The Institute will continue to actively reflect the opinions of forest welfare service users to provide high-quality forest welfare services.”
