Bohae Scholarship Foundation Donates 52 Million Won for Local Talent Scholarships

Bohae Brewery announced on the 28th that it has donated a total of 52 million KRW as scholarships through the Bohae Scholarship Foundation this year.

The Bohae Scholarship Foundation recently held a scholarship award ceremony at its headquarters in Mokpo, Jeonnam, and awarded scholarships totaling 17 million KRW to 15 students.

The scholarship recipients were selected based on recommendations from 12 institutions, including the Mokpo Childcare Center, for university and high school students who have excellent academic performance but face financial difficulties that make continuing their studies challenging.

In July, the Bohae Scholarship Foundation also donated 50 million KRW to the Jeonnam Sports Talent Development Scholarship Foundation in celebration of the 104th National Sports Festival.

Of this amount, 35 million KRW was awarded to scholarship students this year, and the remaining 15 million KRW is planned to be given to sports talents next year.

Since establishing the scholarship foundation in 1981, Bohae Brewery has awarded a total of 3.7439 billion KRW in scholarships to 3,912 individuals over 42 years up to this year.
