Neowiz 2D Action Game 'Skul' Surpasses 2 Million Global Sales

Neowiz announced on the 27th that the 2D action game 'Skul' has surpassed 2 million units in global cumulative sales. Skul is developed by Southpaw Games and serviced by Neowiz.

This figure aggregates cumulative sales across all platforms where Skul is available, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and global PC game platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store.

As of this date, Skul has received a 'Very Positive' rating of 93% from over 41,000 Steam user reviews and continues its popularity by ranking as the number one most popular Korean product in the action roguelike and roguelike genre categories. Notably, last month, it released a new DLC (downloadable content) Myth Pack and the Demon Castle Defense, a battle against a new final boss, introducing distinctive themes and various new content.

Skul is a side-scrolling action game in the roguelite genre that offers the fun of strategically using a single chance. It features a unique system where players can transform into new characters by swapping heads, combined with exhilarating action. Within one year of its official release, in January last year, it became the first Korean packaged indie game to achieve cumulative sales of 1 million units.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the year-end, Skul is holding a discount event on Steam. The game can be purchased at a 50% discounted price until January 19 of next year.
