Itoksy, First Export of Domestic Medical Devices to the Largest General Hospital in Bayambang City, Philippines

iToxsi announced on the 27th that it has made its first export shipment of medical devices to JULIUS AUIAMBAO MEDICAL & WELLNESS CENTER Inc. (hereinafter JKQ Hospital), the largest general hospital in Bayambang City, Philippines.

JKQ Hospital is located in Bayambang City on Luzon Island, north of Manila, Philippines, and has a capacity of about 200 beds. It is scheduled to be completed in March next year.

The first export shipment includes Hanshin Medical's autoclave (high-temperature high-pressure sterilizer), plasma sterilizer, and high-frequency electrosurgical unit for communication devices. Subsequently, breast cancer diagnostic X-ray machines, surgical instrument sets, and medical consumables will be shipped sequentially before the hospital's completion.

JKQ Hospital has been registered with the Philippine FDA for five years, which is expected to facilitate the expansion of the Philippine medical device market in the future. Jeon Bong-gyu, CEO of iToxsi, said, "This export shipment has opened the door to actively pioneering the Philippine medical device market," and added, "We will actively promote the safety and excellence of Korean medical devices."

Meanwhile, iToxsi is primarily engaged in gaming and healthcare businesses. After establishing and operating the COVID-19 testing center at Incheon Airport, the healthcare division has been continuously expanding exports of Korean medical devices and overseas marketing.
