AI portal service company Lytton Technologies announced on the 27th that it has surpassed 2 million cumulative service subscribers. This milestone was achieved just over 11 months after the official service launch in January, with the number of monthly active users also exceeding 1.55 million.
The Lytton app ranked first overall in the Apple App Store popularity rankings from December 23 to 25, and as of the 27th, it continues to hold the top spot in the lifestyle category. It also secured first place in the lifestyle category on the Google Play Store starting from the Christmas holiday period.
The reasons for its popularity include ▲ AI character chatbots that allow conversations with various figures such as Santa Claus, psychological counselors, and foreign friends, and ▲ AI profile photos that provide daily AI-generated images with different concepts, offering new services tailored for the 10 to 20 age group.
Se-young Lee, CEO of Lytton, stated, "Going forward, generative AI will move beyond the closed technological domain of a few experts to become a daily, life-oriented service. We will grow into Korea’s representative AI mega platform by integratively providing AI apps that make everyday life more convenient."
