Changwon National University Operated Changwon-si I Children's Meal Management Support Center, Governor's Commendation

Team Leader Kim Taehwa, Enhancing Hygiene and Safety Management Standards, etc.

Kim Tae-hwa, head of the Hygiene Team at Changwon CityⅠ Children's Meal Management Support Center, which is operated on consignment by the National Changwon University, received a commendation from the Governor of Gyeongnam Province.

According to the university on the 26th, Team Leader Kim was recognized for her contributions to improving the hygiene and safety management levels of children's meal sites in the jurisdiction and preventing the occurrence of food poisoning.

Center Director Moon Hye-kyung said, “Team Leader Kim has responsibly carried out food management tasks while leading the hygiene team that regularly performs hygiene and safety management and education for children's meal sites,” adding, “She is a person who has devoted all her efforts to the development of the center's projects with a strong sense of mission and volunteer spirit.”

The Children's Meal Management Support Center, operated on consignment by Changwon University, is a national project implemented in connection with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and local governments based on Article 21 of the Special Act on Children's Dietary Life Safety Management.

Changwon University, entrusted by Changwon City, opened the center in March 2011 and has been providing on-site customized support for children's meal safety.
