Who Are the Section Chiefs from the 1996 Seoul City Grade 7 Public Service Exam?

Seoul City General Affairs Manager Cho Seong-ho and Audit Officer Kim Hyun-jung. The two joined Seoul City as peers through the 1996 7th-grade public service exam.

In this personnel reshuffle, Manager Cho was promoted from Tourism Policy Manager to the key position of General Affairs Manager, now aiming for Grade 3 (Deputy Director General). Notably, Manager Cho is known as a workaholic who works diligently and is trusted by his superiors. Audit Officer Kim Hyun-jung, also holding a major managerial position in Seoul City, is expected to be promoted to Grade 3 soon.

Additionally, Kim Yeon-ju, Design Industry Officer, is also from the same entry cohort. Officer Kim worked for 21 years in Yeongdeungpo District before transferring to Seoul City three years ago, where she served as Senior Welfare Manager and Childcare Officer.

Han Jeong-hoon, Job Policy Manager, and Ahn Hyung-joon, recently appointed Urban Railway Manager and former Disaster Prevention Manager, are also peers. Furthermore, Lee Gui-yong, who was dispatched as Seoul City Living Environment Manager and formerly Director of Safety and Environment Bureau in Dongdaemun District, is from the same cohort.

Along with them, Jo Kyung-ik, Director of Media Relations at the Seoul Metropolitan Council, and Shim Hyuk-bo, Personnel Officer, also joined Seoul City at the same time. Director Jo is a veteran PR professional in Seoul City's media sector, while Officer Shim transferred from Gangnam District to Seoul City and was promoted to Grade 4 last year.

Although they all entered through the 7th-grade public service exam, they are said to have been recognized for their capabilities and diligence, holding key positions in both Seoul City and the Metropolitan Council.
