The Jeongeup Love Gift Certificates have accumulated over 50,000 subscribers and more than 5,000 affiliated stores, serving as a strong pillar for the local economy.
As demand for the Jeongeup Love Gift Certificates increases, the city plans to divide the issuance amount for next year into 20 billion KRW in the first quarter, 15 billion KRW in the second and third quarters, and 10 billion KRW in the fourth quarter to prepare for early sales.
In particular, while the Jeongeup Love Gift Certificate cards could only be issued by NongHyup this year, starting next year, for the convenience of citizens, issuance and recharging will also be available at Saemaeul Geumgo and Jeonbuk Bank.
Mobile gift certificates can be purchased by recharging through the local gift certificate Chak app as before.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “We are promoting a smooth operation of the Jeongeup Love Gift Certificate project to prevent the outflow of local funds and to expect a positive impact on the local economy,” and added, “We ask for the continuous interest and cooperation of citizens for the coexistence of small business owners and citizens.”
