Dong-Eui Science University Electric Vehicle Department Student Park Min-jae Receives 'Korean Society of Automotive Engineers President Award'

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) recently announced on the 22nd that Park Min-jae, a student in the Department of Electric Vehicles, received the '2023 Korean Society of Automotive Engineers President Award.'

The Korean Society of Automotive Engineers annually awards the President Award to promote automotive engineering majors at universities and to discover and nurture talent in related fields. This year, 23 students, including Park Min-jae, were selected.


Park Min-jae, a student majoring in automotive design in the Department of Electric Vehicles at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, received the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers President Award for his excellent academic performance and exemplary conduct. In particular, as the student council president of his department, he actively participated in the Future Automotive Workforce Training Project supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and also engaged in future automotive education.


Park Min-jae, the award recipient, said, "I am grateful to receive this meaningful award as an electric vehicle student through the recommendation of my advisor," and added, "I will do my best with a spirit of service for my fellow students until graduation."


Lee Sang-jun, advisor of the Department of Electric Vehicles, said, "I am pleased that Park Min-jae, who devoted himself to the department as the student council president over the past two years despite the difficult circumstances following COVID-19, has received this award."


Established in 1995, the Automotive Department at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has produced over 5,000 automotive professionals to date and actively carries out various workforce training projects such as the Ministry of Industry and Resources' 'Future Automotive Workforce Training Project,' the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Work-Study Dual System for Enrolled Students' and 'Cheonghaejin University Project,' and Busan City's 'BB21+ Eco-friendly Automotive Workforce Training Project.'
