Regarding Han Dong-hoon, Minister of Justice, resigning from his ministerial position and accepting the role of Emergency Response Committee Chairperson of the People Power Party, Jang Kyung-tae, a pro-Myeong (親明) member and Supreme Council Member of the Democratic Party of Korea, emphasized the 'regime judgment theory' in next year's general election, calling it a "two birds with one stone (일석이조) emergency committee."

On the 22nd, Supreme Council Member Jang said on CBS's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' "Next year's general election is dominated by the theory of judging President Yoon Seok-yeol, and in the current situation, Emergency Committee Chairperson Han Dong-hoon will also be judged together. I believe former Minister Han will also be judged in next year's general election."

He added, "I thought former Minister Han was at least somewhat smart and had some political sense, but I realized he was actually quite lacking in sense," and said, "If former Minister Han cannot shout 'Goodbye Yoon Seok-yeol' next year, he himself will be judged."

Supreme Council Member Jang said, "(Han's acceptance of the Emergency Committee Chairperson position) is a choice to limit his political life to four months," and added, "I thought he would retire just four months after entering politics."

From the Democratic Party's perspective, the 'Han Dong-hoon emergency committee' will strengthen the regime judgment theory. Supreme Council Member Jang said, "It was an election to judge only President Yoon, but now, along with Yoon Seok-yeol, an appendix of Han Dong-hoon follows and is being judged," and added, "What future does a defeated emergency committee chairperson like former Minister Han have?"

He continued, "He was incompetent as Minister of Justice, failing to properly verify personnel, which caused problems, and there were always controversies about school violence, and now he even loses the general election. Then, of course, former Minister Han will be judged," he added.
