Kyowon Group announced on the 22nd that it has carried out a donation relay to share warmth with neighbors in need as the year-end approaches.
This donation relay is part of the "Inyeon Love Campaign," which has been ongoing since 2001. The "Inyeon Love Campaign" is operated with social contribution funds from Kyowon Group and donations voluntarily collected from its employees. For 22 years, it has shared warmth in various forms such as providing goods, educational activities, medical support, facility renovations, and volunteer activities with employees to marginalized neighbors facing economic and emotional difficulties.
This year, Kyowon Group started by donating school supplies for children in the local community and is delivering daily necessities to vulnerable women. In January next year, educational materials such as complete book sets will also be donated.
On the 11th, Kyowon Group delivered school supply sets worth 8 million KRW to 24 child welfare facilities connected with the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. The supplies include notebooks, file holders, mechanical pencils, and are used to support the academic activities of children from vulnerable groups. On the 15th, employees visited the Salvation Army Seoul Welfare Center located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, spending meaningful time with the children and delivering daily necessities together. The delivered daily necessities were products from Kyowon Theorem, Kyowon Group’s lifestyle company, including hygiene products such as shampoo, laundry detergent, and multi-purpose cleaners necessary for daily life. Soon, to support the healthy lives of women in welfare blind spots, Kyowon Group plans to donate over 2,000 female hygiene products worth 10 million KRW from Kyowon Theorem to the Single Mothers Association In Tree. These hygiene products will be distributed to vulnerable single mothers and children from single-parent families who have difficulty purchasing hygiene products.
A Kyowon Group official said, “Every year, we gather the hearts of our employees to carry out sharing activities that deliver warmth to neighbors around us,” and added, “We will continue to engage in social contribution activities that can coexist with local communities.”
