Enhancing Immersion with Samsung Neo QLED 8K and Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung Electronics announced on the 22nd that it has participated as an official partner in Netflix's experiential zone 'Squid Game: The Trial,' which opened in Los Angeles, USA.

First, Samsung Electronics installed Neo QLED 8K and the lifestyle TV 'The Frame' in the experiential zone to provide a sense of presence.

Participants watch the trailer video of 'Squid Game: The Challenge' through Neo QLED 8K at the entrance of the experiential zone to learn about the game's universe before entering. Various guide videos shown on Neo QLED 8K throughout the game zone enhance participants' concentration and provide an immersive experience as if they have become the main characters of Squid Game. After the game ends, the winner receives a mask in the VIP lounge and can watch the matches of the next group of participants live on the Samsung The Frame 85-inch TV, just like the 'Front Man' in the drama.

Iconic scenes from Squid Game were also recreated using the latest Galaxy smartphones. While experiencing 'Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed,' participants can capture fun moments as memories with hyperlapse videos and high-resolution images on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The 'Digital Dalgona Game' using the S Pen of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is also available to experience. The Dalgona game consists of five difficulty levels, and if the fragile dalgona is not precisely cut with the S Pen, the player is eliminated. During the game, the front camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra records the faces of participants concentrating on the game, and after the game ends, they can immediately receive their desired photos via 'Quick Share.' At the 'FlexCam Kiosk,' participants can take photos from various angles using the FlexCam of the Galaxy Z Flip5 and download them as keepsakes.
