Carrot Connects 173 Million Secondhand Transactions This Year

This year, the number of secondhand transactions through Danggeun reached 173 million. Compared to 164 million transactions last year, this is an increase of 9 million. On the 21st, Danggeun announced this while releasing year-end settlement data reviewing the year 2023.

The cumulative number of Danggeun users exceeded 36 million as of December. The monthly active users (MAU) approach 19 million. Also, among the 173 million secondhand transactions this year, the number of 'sharing' transactions where neighbors exchanged warm hearts increased by about 30% year-on-year to 13 million. The user who made the most 'sharing' transactions in one year was recorded to have done so 1,661 times. It was also confirmed that 12,525 users achieved a 'Manner Temperature' of 99 degrees.

Danggeun has greatly contributed to resource recycling by spreading the culture of secondhand trading and sharing among neighbors. In fact, since the service opened, Danggeun users have practiced secondhand trading and sharing, resulting in the equivalent effect of planting a cumulative total of 325 million pine trees.

On the 'Neighborhood Life' bulletin board, where various stories and information of local residents are exchanged, 25 million interactions took place this year. This is a 15% increase compared to last year.
