EV Advanced Materials Supplies Transparent LED Film for Media Wall in Bukchang-dong

On the 20th, EV Advanced Materials announced that its latest technology was applied to the transparent display LED film 'Actvision' 6mm product used in the 'Media Wall' installed by Midkiss on the Bukchang-dong food street in Jung-gu, Seoul, which measures 2 meters in height and 20 meters in length.

According to Midkiss, which carried out the project, the media wall installed as part of the 'Bukchang-dong Food Street Landscape Improvement Project' features a transparent LED display instead of a conventional electronic billboard, allowing unobstructed views through the media wall and creating a sense of spaciousness.

The installation was carried out after thorough consideration of various factors such as pedestrian eye level, safety, potential light pollution, and harmony with the surrounding environment. The high-quality video content displayed on the media wall is expected to attract citizens' attention and help revitalize the Bukchang-dong food street.

Bukchang-dong Food Alley is a representative food street in Seoul, adjacent to Sungnyemun, Deoksugung Palace, and City Hall Plaza, and is considered a must-visit course for tourists. Jung-gu aims to make the media wall a communication window with citizens, establish it as a regional landmark to strengthen the place identity and uniqueness of Bukchang-dong, and thereby promote local economic revitalization.

The Bukchang-dong media wall produced by EV Advanced Materials applies its transparent display LED film 'Actvision.' It is a thin, lightweight, and flexible film-type 3rd generation LED digital signage product that boasts industry-leading transparency by applying the OCR (Optical Clear Resin) method and uses one million 6mm pitch LEDs to achieve ultra-high resolution on a large transparent LED film.

An official from EV Advanced Materials stated, “This year, we installed 'Actvision' at about 10 locations including the 1883 Open Port Rest Area in Incheon and the Mokpo Gourmet Culture Gallery. In January next year, we plan to construct the largest transparent LED display in Korea on the Light Fortress structure in Gwangju.”
