Lotte Resort Sokcho Operates New Year's Sunrise Event 'Miracle Morning Club'

Lotte Resort Sokcho announced on the 20th that it will launch an online and offline New Year's event called the 'Miracle Morning Club' to welcome the Year of the Gapjin (甲辰年).

As part of the event, Lotte Resort Sokcho will hold a YouTube live broadcast where viewers can watch the first sunrise of the new year in real time. The scheduled sunrise time in Sokcho on that day is 7:43 AM, and the sunrise scene over the East Sea as seen from Lotte Resort Sokcho will be streamed live for one hour from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM. The broadcast can be viewed on the official Lotte Resort website, and those who register for advance notifications will receive the viewing URL link via text message on the day of the broadcast.

A New Year's blessing comment event has also been prepared. Anyone who is an online member of Lotte Resort can participate by leaving a blessing comment they want to share in the 'Miracle Morning Club' event section on the official Lotte Resort website by January 29. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes including a suite room accommodation voucher at Lotte Resort Sokcho (1 person), a gifticon for a half-dozen box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts (15 people), and a voucher for one Angel-in-us Americano coffee (35 people). Selected comments will be featured during the live broadcast on January 1.

From February 1 to 19, a New Year's sunrise photo certification event will be held. Participants must follow Lotte Resort’s Instagram and upload a post (photo or reels) with a sunrise photo taken directly in Sokcho or a screenshot certifying they watched the Miracle Morning Club live broadcast, along with the mandatory hashtags (#2024MiracleMorningClub #SunriseSpot #LotteResortSokcho #SokchoSunrise). Thirty winners will be drawn to receive two movie tickets for Lotte Cinema.

Additionally, Lotte Resort Sokcho will hold offline events for guests. A sunrise coffee truck will operate at the Lotte Resort Sokcho infinity pool, giving away one Krispy Kreme doughnut and one Angel-in-us coffee to the first 500 guests from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM on January 1. Also, from 7:00 AM for one hour on the same day, a 'Singing Bowl Sunrise Meditation' program will be offered free of charge at the Lotte Resort Traveler Lounge. Participation is limited to the first 20 people who make a reservation in advance through the official website.
