Global Brand Smiley's First IP
Moa Green Sanghoe, a company specializing in the production and distribution of travel suitcases, has seen its 'SMILEYWORLD' suitcase, launched in the second half of this year, gain popularity.
'Smiley' is a global brand familiar worldwide with its yellow smiling face, created in 1972. Smileyworld was established in 1997 as the first intellectual property (IP) of Smiley in line with digital trends, and it was introduced for the first time in Korea as a travel suitcase through Moa Green Sanghoe.
The Smileyworld suitcase set consists of nine travel essentials: ▲28-inch cargo suitcase ▲20-inch carry-on suitcase ▲Boston bag ▲three types of travel pouches ▲shoe pouch ▲air cover ▲string band. It features a unique horizontal design and carries Smiley’s cheerful image both inside and outside the suitcase. The Smileyworld suitcase is available in four colors: black, green, red, and gold.
Especially, thanks to the horizontal design, the 20-inch carry-on suitcase can be placed on top of the 28-inch suitcase and secured with a band, making it convenient to transport luggage during long trips or for large families. Additionally, the product emphasizes durability and convenience to the extent that an adult can sit on the suitcase while it is being moved, along with carrying separate luggage such as a golf bag on top.
Kim In-kwon, CEO of Moa Green Sanghoe, stated, "Encouraged by customer response, we are expanding consumer contact through additional home shopping broadcasts and various sales channels until the end of the year. Based on our unique suitcase research and development and know-how, we plan to launch an innovative suitcase and new products that will change lifestyles, which have never been seen in the domestic market, early next year."
