Lee Sang-gil (59), former Deputy Mayor of Daegu, announced on the 19th that he will run for the general election in Buk-gu Eul, Daegu.
On the same day at 2 p.m., Lee held a press conference at the Daegu City Party Office of the People Power Party in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, stating, “As an administrative expert with over 30 years of public service experience in Daegu City and the central government, and as the CEO of EXCO Co., Ltd., a leading company in the MICE industry, I will open a renaissance era for Buk-gu, the central city of the new airport and Kumho River, based on the best management achievements since EXCO’s founding.”
Former Deputy Mayor of Daegu, Sang-gil Lee, is declaring his candidacy on the 19th at the People Power Party Daegu City Office in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu.
Lee continued, “I pledge to offer not only dreams and hope but also realistic development and innovation to the citizens of Daegu who yearn for political reform and want to end the old-fashioned politics that only look toward the central party without considering the voters.”
After passing the 1991 Administrative Examination, Lee served as Director of Planning and Coordination Office of Daegu City, Director of Local Finance Policy at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Deputy Mayor of Daegu, and CEO of EXCO.
