S-1 Launches 'Integrated SI Manager'... Enhancing Building Operation Efficiency

Cost Reduction Through Energy Management
Preventing Safety Accidents with Automated Solution Control

S-1 has introduced a solution that reduces the operational burden for building owners.

S-1 Launches 'Integrated SI Manager'... Enhancing Building Operation Efficiency

On the 19th, S-1 announced the launch of the 'Integrated SI Manager,' which helps improve building operation efficiency while preventing safety accidents.

Based on entry and exit personnel data, it assists in cost reduction through energy management such as controlling lighting and heating/cooling schedules. For example, it turns off wasted lights or adjusts heating/cooling temperatures depending on whether there are people on certain floors or rooms before and after commuting hours.

It supports real-time monitoring of energy used in the building to prevent excessive energy consumption during heatwaves or cold spells. For instance, if the building’s maximum power usage during a heatwave is 100, when it exceeds 80 or 90, it sends an alert to the person in charge to guide them to control lighting and elevators.

The Integrated SI Manager also enables integrated monitoring of security and building management solutions applied to the building through a single program, reducing labor costs. Previously, dedicated personnel were required for each facility such as closed-circuit television (CCTV), access control, parking management, and elevators, and different operational methods for each program required training support. The Integrated SI Manager applies a 'building and industrial standard communication protocol' to allow communication between various solutions applied to the building, enabling the integration of new solutions into one program without additional development.

In case of emergencies such as fire, earthquake, or flooding within the building, it helps prevent safety accidents through automatic control of solutions related to CCTV and firefighting. After an immediate alarm via sensors, it sends notifications to the person in charge and automatically displays the floor plan of the fire-affected area and CCTV footage on the integrated control center monitor.

Subsequently, according to the 'fire response scenario,' it operates related access door openings, emergency lighting activation, elevator shutdowns, etc., according to the manual, and identifies occupants by floor and room in real time to minimize casualties.

An S-1 official said, "We expect the Integrated SI Manager to significantly reduce the operational burden on building owners."
