9 Public Institutions Relocated to Daegu Donate 20 Million Won in Christmas Gifts for Underprivileged Children

The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byeong-il) and public institutions relocated to Daegu Innovation City held a warm winter Christmas gift donation ceremony for vulnerable children and adolescents in the Daegu area on the 18th at the Ansim Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Dong-gu, Daegu.


For this social contribution activity, nine institutions including the Korea Student Aid Foundation, Korea Gas Corporation, Korea Real Estate Board, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Education and Research Information Service, Korea Private School Promotion Foundation, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, and National Information Society Agency jointly raised a donation fund of 20 million KRW.

This donation will be used to prepare and deliver Christmas gifts for vulnerable children and adolescents in the Daegu area in cooperation with the Daegu Community Chest of Korea and the Ansim Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.


Hwang Byeong-gi, Standing Director of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, “We hope that the gifts prepared with one heart by the public institutions relocated to Daegu Innovation City will be well delivered to local children and adolescents so that they can have a joyful Christmas,” adding, “We will take the lead in ESG-based social contributions to share the resources of public institutions in the Daegu area and coexist with the community.”
