Gyeongsang National University, 15th Class of Chamjinju Women's University Program Graduates 38 Students

This Year, a Total of 590 True Jinju Female University Students Graduated

Gyeongsang National University Lifelong Education Center announced on the 19th that it held the graduation ceremony for the 15th Cham Jinju Women's University course at the Chilam Campus Industry-Academic Cooperation Building conference room.


Cham Jinju Women's University and Jeong-eun is a course established to expand women's political and social participation in the era of local autonomy, contribute to regional community development, and cultivate female leaders who respond to the era of globalization and informatization. Jinju City and Gyeongsang National University (formerly Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology) signed a consignment education agreement for Cham Jinju Women's University in 2009.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Park Seong-sik, Director of the Lifelong Education Center, Choi Mo-seok, Director of the Welfare and Women’s Bureau of Jinju City, 38 graduates of the 15th Cham Jinju Women's University course, and Kang Chun-hwa, President of the Cham Jinju Women's University Alumni Association, among more than 50 attendees.


The Cham Jinju Women's University course started with 40 graduates in the 1st class in 2009, and with 38 graduates in the 15th class in 2023, a total of 590 people have completed the course, making it the center of female leader training programs in the Jinju area.


The female leaders who graduated this day will engage in various activities for regional community development, including volunteer work and social participation in various fields together with senior graduates.


Director Park Seong-sik encouraged, “Through 100 hours of education in women’s leadership, healing and communication, humanities, and general knowledge, you have fully acquired the qualities of female leaders. The diverse human networks you have built in various fields will become a warm coat for the local community and a driving force to make Jinju City more beautiful.”
