Zaigle "Smooth Progress in Healthcare and Secondary Battery Businesses Based on Self-Operating Funds"

Zaigle announced on the 15th that it is smoothly carrying out its healthcare and secondary battery businesses based on operating funds secured through its own sales and internal procurement.

In the healthcare business, Zaigle is selling the Zaigle On Nest, a pain relief medical device utilizing bio-thermal energy, primarily through home shopping channels. The company explained that after fully launching experiential marketing, it has been consistently achieving its broadcast targets through home shopping sales broadcasts, and sales growth is expected to accelerate.

The secondary battery business requires a long period for product development and production facility setup, and tasks are being carried out sequentially according to necessity. Currently, Zaigle stated that it is fully mobilizing its capabilities for the construction of the Virginia LFP battery factory being promoted by its U.S. joint venture, ‘Zaicell’.

Zaigle plans to continuously achieve sales in related fields by receiving orders for raw and subsidiary materials necessary for the future LFP battery factory facilities and related product production from Zaicell in the U.S., procuring them through ODM production, and exporting to the U.S. The existing company operating funds are being used for the development of plant and engineering technologies based on related know-how the company is pursuing, as well as for preparation and operation funds for the self-developed LFP product business.

Focusing on the LFP battery-related know-how secured by the company, Zaigle is building related infrastructure under the leadership of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Kim Young-dae through additional in-house product upgrades, strengthening R&D capabilities, and active business partnerships with related companies. Development of high-capacity (100, 280Ah) LFP cells is underway, and facility automation is also being promoted. In the future, Zaigle plans to launch LFP battery cells, related BMS, and application products, as well as to carry out related plant construction and engineering consulting.

Zaigle is currently developing its own website containing the direction and details of its secondary battery business. The website will introduce products such as ‘DeltaQ’, which can shorten battery cell quality inspection and formation verification time, self-developed LFP batteries including 30Ah, 100Ah, and 280Ah cells, related BMS-based X-EV products, and application products such as ESS products and solar streetlights. Additionally, the website will include information related to the plant and engineering consulting business, which is also being prepared internally. Besides the website, Zaigle plans to disclose major matters such as contract signings through official announcements.

A Zaigle official stated, “Due to confidentiality clauses, it is difficult to disclose specific details about sensitive matters including ongoing negotiations, but the company is proceeding with its work smoothly according to its own business plans, and we will resolve doubts with concrete results.”
