The hospital reception service of Goodoc, a mobile healthcare platform operator with the largest number of domestic users, is showing rapid growth.
Goodoc announced that the number of on-site tablet and Goodoc app mobile reception cases affiliated with over 5,000 hospitals nationwide has recently surpassed the total usage in the entire third quarter within just two months. In particular, mobile reception using the Goodoc app recorded more than double the user growth during the same period.
Goodoc's reception service is currently provided free of charge to both hospitals and users. Prioritizing the realization of Goodoc's core value of "minimizing medical gaps," the company aims to build a healthcare ecosystem that enables comprehensive health management and provide services that contribute to improving convenience and time efficiency for both patients and doctors.
The company also explained that, following the recent announcement of government amendments, the non-face-to-face medical consultation app service, which has entered full-scale activation, has been optimized according to the guidelines and reorganized with a focus on user convenience.
A Goodoc representative said, "We are making efforts to make digital healthcare services such as hospital reception and non-face-to-face medical consultations more accessible to users by improving the overall UX, considering accessibility for vulnerable groups such as the digitally marginalized. The non-face-to-face medical consultation sector, which the government has been repeatedly improving at the institutional level, will also continue to keep pace with the updated guidelines so that all users can receive hospital services in an optimal app service environment."
Goodoc, a subsidiary of Carelabs, operates the mobile healthcare platform service with the largest number of domestic users. It provides various healthcare-related services free of charge, including location-based hospital business status, mobile reception, and reservation services. Since launching its non-face-to-face medical consultation service in February last year, it has recorded 1 million cumulative medical users and 7.6 million cumulative subscribers, establishing itself as a leading digital healthcare platform in Korea.
