Justice Party Adopts Resolution Urging Ryu Ho-jeong to Leave Party: "Get Off Bus 6411 Immediately"

The Justice Party has adopted an official resolution urging former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop and Justice Party lawmaker Ryu Ho-jeong, who declared the founding of the new party 'Saeroun Seontaek' (New Choice), to leave the party and resign from their parliamentary seats, increasing pressure.

On the 14th, Kim Jun-woo, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the Justice Party, stated through social media (SNS), "I urge the 'third power' who insisted on getting off bus 6411 and lawmaker Ryu. Don’t stop the bus by saying it doesn’t stop at the station you want to get off at; please get off immediately," adding, "Those remaining on that bus will continue moving toward labor, green, and equality." The '6411 bus' is one of the symbols of the Justice Party.

On the same day, the Justice Party’s National Committee adopted an official resolution urging lawmaker Ryu to leave the party and resign from her parliamentary seat. The youth opinion group within the Justice Party led by lawmaker Ryu, called the 'Third Power,' chose to jointly establish a new party 'Saeroun Seontaek' (New Choice) in the third political zone, but lawmaker Ryu stated she would still remain in the party.

In response, Chairman Kim said, "The Justice Party cannot easily overlook the attitude of lawmaker Ryu, who, while serving as a party official and lawmaker, not only engages in political activities contrary to the party’s line but also actively participates in founding a new party and yet seems reluctant to give up her parliamentary seat," urging her to leave the party.
