Movie 'Simindeokhui' to be Released on January 24

The film 'Citizen Deokhee' is set to be released on January 24 next year, distributor Showbox announced on the 14th.

'Citizen Deokhee' (directed by Park Young-joo) tells the story that unfolds when Jaemin, a member of a voice phishing gang who scammed ordinary citizen Deokhee, sends a distress call for help.

Actress Ra Mi-ran takes center stage as Deokhee, a citizen who lost all her assets from a single phone call. Gong Myung plays Jaemin, the voice phishing gang member who requests help from scam victim Deokhee, and Yeom Hye-ran plays Bong-rim, a laundry factory colleague who assists Deokhee in her pursuit.

Park Byung-eun portrays Detective Park, who does not believe the voice phishing gang member's direct tip-off, Jang Yoon-ju plays Suk-ja, an idol fan site manager by hobby, and Ahn Eun-jin takes on the role of Ae-rim, a taxi driver knowledgeable about Qingdao geography and the action leader. Additionally, Lee Moo-saeng plays the mysterious mastermind behind the scenes.
