On the morning of the 14th, Bodyfriend held a launch event for Quantum on the first floor of its headquarters in Dogok Tower, Gangnam, Seoul. Quantum showcases technological differentiation with its 'Robo Walking Technology.' Over 3,000 high-tech components are incorporated into a single Quantum unit. It offers as many as 49 healthcare programs. These include 'Robo Mode,' which directly induces leg movement; 'Health Mode,' featuring signature programs such as healthcare massage and brain massage; and 'Auto Mode,' which provides massages tailored to the user's body parts, characteristics, and situations. In addition to the 'Spine Line Mode' designed for modern people, a newly added 'Soft Spine Line Mode' allows seniors with fragile bones to use it comfortably without burden.

The massage balls use the 'XD-Pro' heated three-dimensional module. The massage range is divided into 80 steps, moving 1.25 mm at a time. This precise movement enables massages that feel like human hands.

A 10-inch FHD integrated tablet is separately applied, allowing users to adjust XD intensity, massage speed, and rolling speed on one screen during the massage. From a distance, users can control the chair angle and heat settings for each area via a slider at the bottom of the screen. User profiles can be saved for up to eight people. Additionally, the chair includes 15 safety sensors, an electrostatic protection button, and a wireless phone charging function.

In partnership with Bang&Olufsen, speakers are optionally installed. Sound masters from Bang&Olufsen personally visited Bodyfriend to tune the speaker modules to optimal conditions. The system blocks external noise and provides the most comfortable sound to help users focus on relaxation. Even when not receiving a massage, users can listen to music through the 'Entertainment Mode.' This version with options is scheduled for release early next year.

A Bodyfriend representative explained, "Quantum boasts the best performance and embodies the vision of future healthcare robots as a massage chair. It is unparalleled, with 28 intellectual property rights including 13 patented technologies. Especially, the version equipped with Bang&Olufsen speakers will set the standard for massage chairs at a new starting line as a high-end healthcare robot."
