A Company with 200 Million KRW Revenue 5 Years Ago Achieves 10 Billion KRW This Year
Successful Companies Produced Annually and Regional Job Creation
JK Tech (CEO Moon Young-il) was founded in June 2018. Starting with sales of 200 million KRW at the time of establishment, the company achieved 10 billion KRW this year, marking a 5000% growth. It was also able to create jobs by hiring 8 new employees. This is the result of five years of residence at Chungnam Technopark.
Chungnam Technopark contributes to regional job creation by producing successful companies every year. It is evaluated as leading companies that achieve results even amid the 경기 recession.
A representative example is JK Tech. This company specializes in the design and manufacturing of display and secondary battery equipment. Although it experienced difficult times due to lack of funds and shortage of specialized personnel, it was able to continuously pursue technology development through Chungnam Technopark’s customized support projects. The business scope has expanded from the previous focus solely on display processes to include displays, secondary batteries, and industrial molding machines. Moon Young-il, CEO of JK Tech, said, "When we were about to give up due to lack of funds and limitations in training technical personnel, we were able to become a trusted company by customers thanks to the support from Chungnam Technopark."
In addition to JK Tech, four companies including CKL, which received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award last year through the Chungnam Technopark startup incubation program, have achieved remarkable results such as establishing their own factories.
Currently, the occupancy rate of Chungnam Technopark Cheonan Valley is maintained at about 91.78%, with very few vacancies. A Chungnam Technopark official stated, "To support tenant spaces, we will increase the utilization of idle spaces to create an environment where as many companies as possible can move in," adding, "As a result of continuous close support for companies, including direct assistance to resolve technical and management difficulties, both sales and employment have shown good results."
