Department of Smart Hospitality at Dong-Eui University Hosts Dong-Eui Hotel Brunch Festival

Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) Early Employment Contract Department Project Group (Director Kim Sam-yeol)'s Smart Hospitality Department held the 'Dong-Eui Hotel Brunch Festival' at 12 PM on the 12th in the C Lounge of the Dong-Eui University Life Science Building.

On the 12th, the Department of Smart Hospitality at Dong-Eui University held the Dong-Eui Hotel Brunch Festival.

This event, conducted as part of the first-year course 'Hotel Breakfast Menu Practice' in the Smart Hospitality Department, invited about 50 virtual customers including the on-campus operating committee of the early employment contract department, department professors, first and second generation seniors of the Smart Hospitality Department, and Dong-Eui University staff, and was carried out as a hotel brunch buffet practice.

Professor Kim Kwon-dong of the Smart Hospitality Department said, “The Smart Hospitality Department is a practice-oriented department. All processes, from menu planning to restaurant design, marketing, service, and cooking, were carried out by 26 first-year students.”

Also, first-year student representative Kim Yi-young shared her thoughts, saying, “I was very excited to actually gain hands-on experience. During the preparation for the buffet practice from the day before the event and the morning of the event, I thought of the seniors who are working hard in the field, and it was a valuable experience that will greatly help me when I work at a hotel next year.”

Dong-Eui University operates the only general university early employment contract departments in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, selecting 100 freshmen in the Smart Hospitality Department, Future Automotive Department, and Software Convergence Department.
