The prosecution investigating the allegations of 'coercion to withdraw from the Paris Baguette Bakers' Union' by SPC Group summoned Hwang Jae-bok, CEO of SPC, on the 13th.
According to the legal community on the day, the Public Investigation Division 3 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Im Sam-bin) is currently investigating Hwang as a suspect in connection with unfair labor practices at PB Partners, a subsidiary of SPC Group. Hwang previously served as the CEO of PB Partners.
The prosecution is reportedly questioning Hwang about the circumstances under which unfair labor practices occurred at PB Partners and whether there was involvement at the group level.
