Seoul City announced on the 13th that it held a construction committee meeting on the 12th and approved a total of five construction reviews, including the 'Donam 6th District Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project.' Through this review, a total of 2,985 apartment units will be supplied. Among them, 673 units are planned as a Social-Mix, where public and sale housing are mixed, enabling the supply of high-quality public housing equivalent to sale housing.
The projects that passed this review include ▲Donam 6th District Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project ▲Sinchon Area Mapo 4-1 District Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project ▲Singil-eum Redevelopment Promotion Zone Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project ▲Sangdo-dong 154-3 Area Sangdo Station Transit-Oriented Long-term Rental Housing Project ▲Korea University Guro Hospital Cancer Hospital (Nuri Building) New Construction Project, totaling five locations.
First, the ‘Donam 6th District Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (Donam-dong, Seongbuk-gu),’ located near Gireum Station on Subway Line 4, will consist of 12 buildings with 7 basement floors and 25 above-ground floors, comprising 889 apartment units (161 public units, 728 sale units) and auxiliary welfare facilities.
The ‘Sinchon Area Mapo 4-1 District Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (Nogosan-dong, Mapo-gu),’ near Sinchon Station on Subway Line 2, will be a building with 5 basement floors and 29 above-ground floors, including 147 urban-style residential units (29 public units, 118 sale units) and neighborhood living facilities.
The ‘Singil-eum Redevelopment Promotion Zone Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (Gireum-dong, Seongbuk-gu),’ near Gireum Station on Subway Line 4, will consist of 5 buildings with 5 basement floors and 37 above-ground floors, comprising 883 apartment units (211 public units, 672 sale units) and auxiliary welfare facilities.
The ‘Sangdo-dong 154-3 Area Sangdo Station Transit-Oriented Long-term Rental Housing Project (Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu),’ near Sangdo Station on Subway Line 7, will consist of 7 buildings with 5 basement floors and up to 42 above-ground floors, including 1,066 apartment units (272 public units, 794 sale units) and auxiliary welfare facilities.
The ‘Korea University Guro Hospital Cancer Hospital (Nuri Building) New Construction Project (Guro-dong, Guro-gu)’ will convert the existing parking lot site at Korea University Guro Hospital into a comprehensive medical facility to improve medical facilities and expand treatment spaces, constructing a cancer hospital with 9 basement floors and 6 above-ground floors.
Han Byung-yong, Director of Seoul City’s Housing Policy Office, said, “We are making efforts to incorporate the Social-Mix, which mixes public and sale housing, into the project plans from the early stages,” adding, “We will continue to strive to supply high-quality public housing through construction committee reviews in future housing construction plans.”
