Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun of Muan County Council Receives Korea Local Autonomy Legislative Award

Kim Kyung-hyun, chairman of the Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do, received the Grand Prize in the council category at the '2023 Korea Local Autonomy Legislative Awards' ceremony held on the 12th in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the Jangheung County Citizens' Hall.

The awards ceremony, hosted by the Korea Autonomy Newspaper, is held with the purpose of promoting a healthy political culture and discovering outstanding individuals who have proven competitiveness and morality in various fields of society, thereby widely informing the local community.

Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun devoted himself to improving the quality of life for county residents, achieved diversification of Muan County administration through various ordinance enactments, and established a council image that approaches residents with humility by communicating and harmonizing with both the executive branch and the residents, earning the honor of receiving the award.

Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun said, "I am honored to receive the Local Autonomy Legislative Grand Prize," and added, "I will continue to carry out open legislation for the residents with an even humbler attitude."
